Student Connect

Student Connect is for users who need to access a quick file or for users who do not have the software available on their home computer. It is in the users’s best interest to use their home computer whenever possible and save to a flash drive and then bring the project in. When multiple users use Student Connect the resources become limited and connection problems can occur. When connecting please keep this in mind and remember to always save your work often and log off properly when finished with your session.

Windows Seven
Users need no additional software to connect but must make sure they have all of the latest Windows Updates. Run the Student Connect file below to begin connection.

Windows XP/Vista
Users need to make sure they have all of the latest Windows Updates and also the latest Remote Desktop Client 7.0 to avoid connection issues.

Update for Windows Vista, x86-based versions

Mac
Users need Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac. Click here to download.
After installation connect to server connect.ofsd.k12.mo.us
*limited support for Mac operating systems

Linux
Users need "rdesktop". Click here to download.
After installation connect to server connect.ofsd.k12.mo.us
*limited support for Linux operating systems

Still can't connect?
If you are still having problems connecting be sure when the login box appears that is says OFSD\Username and not something like HOME-PC\Username. If it does click the Use Another Account button and enter OFSD\Username. If there is not a Use Another Account button erase everything in the username box and enter OFSD\Username.
