Keystrokes are fabulous shortcuts, but...
Sometimes it means that you accidentally change a setting that you did not intend to change by clicking on two or three keys at the same time.
There is an endless amount of keystrokes. If you do not see your issue listed here, please do a Google search of the issue and see if you can discover the keystroke and how to reverse it. Below we have some common ones.

Restoring Default Settings:
Sometimes it's difficult to know what settings have been changed. Maybe a website won't load or is blocked or a video won't play, but they seem to work for other students.
Restoring Default Settings will return all settings to default, so it is always worth a try if you feel you or someone else has changed something.
1. Open up a Google tab and go to chrome://settings.
2. On the left side, you will see a menu. Clip the arrow for "Advanced." A new list of menu choices will appear.
3. From that menu, click on "Reset Settings."
4. On the next screen, click the arrow to the right of "Restore settings to their original default."
5. Then you will get a pop-up box that asks if you want to reset settings. Click to blue button to reset settings.
6. Once this is complete, close the tab and then sign out and sign back into the Chromebook.
Sometimes, it is also helpful to remove the user account to help completely reset the person's settings.
