DES Student Supports St. Baldrick's Foundation
Matthew Lewis received accolades from the Orchard Farm Board of Education for his efforts to help others. For nine years, Lewis has fundraised for
St. Baldrick's Foundation. Lewis has raised $15,000 for the organization during this time, which makes him the most successful individual St. Baldricks fundraiser in the area.
This year, Lewis has raised more than $1500 and is hoping to raise $2,200. To help accomplish his goal, Lewis will host a Hat Day at Discovery Elementary on March 8, 2019. Students donate a nominal amount to wear a hat.
