Teaching staff: According to Policy GCBA, the district may recognize up to five years of an employee's previous comparable experience when placing employee on the salary schedule. One-half credit will be given for the next two years of previous comparable experience.

All other salary/pay schedules specify the number of comparable years which can be brought in for placement.

Nursing Staff: **NEW 2024-25** Follow teaching staff comparable expereince award. First 5 years, then one credit for every two years thereafter.

Transportation Staff: Drivers can start on Step 4 with prior comparable years of expereince.
