Chromebook Will Not Power On
Hibernation
Sometimes, Chromebooks go into hibernation mode without us telling them to. When it is in hibernation, it will not power on or charge. To bring it out of hibernation, follow these two steps:
1. Plug your charger into the Chromebook.
2. Do a hard reset, which is pressing the refresh button and the power button at the same time.
If this worked, your Chromebook's power light near the charging port will light up, and the screen will boot up within a few seconds.
If this did not work, you probably have a much more serious issue and will need to request assistance.
