 About

Guidance and counseling are an integral part of Orchard Farm High School’s educational program. It is developmental by design and includes sequential activities organized and implemented by a certified school counselor. The Guidance Program includes Guidance Curriculum; Individual Planning; Responsive Services and Program Management.

The program is designed to address the needs of all students by helping them to acquire competencies in Career Planning and Exploration, Knowledge of Self and Others, and Educational and Vocational Development.

A guidance counselor is available to each high school student. A counselor is available to help the student overcome any academic or personal problem. The counselor has information on a variety of occupations, as well as college programs and scholarships. The counselor will aid the student in planning high school coursework to best meet the present and future needs of the student. Parents are encouraged to contact their child's counselor for any related information.
