Dr. Klostermann

Dr. Keith Klostermann, Head Principal at Orchard Farm Middle School, was named the new Assistant Superintendent of the District at last night’s BOE Meeting. Dr. Klostermann has spent the past 25 years in education. In addition to 7 years as the OFMS Head Principal, Dr. Klostermann’s professional background includes 19 years with the Troy School District as a High School Teacher, Coach, and Assistant Principal. Notably, in 2014, Dr. Klostermann was named Middle School Assistant Principal of the year by the St. Louis Area Association of Secondary School Principals. He will begin his new duties starting July 1,  2021.

“We are very pleased to transition Dr. Klostermann into the role of Assistant Superintendent,” said Nancy Goeke, President of the OFSD Board of Education. ”Dr. Klostermann has been with the District since 2014, we have seen first hand the impact he has had on our community and we look forward to him continuing to do so.”

It has been an honor to serve as the Middle School Principal for the Orchard Farm School District and I look forward to the opportunity to transition into the role of Assistant Superintendent. Orchard Farm is a special place with wonderful students, staff, and families and I would like to thank the Board of Education for the opportunity to continue to serve this district and community," said Dr. Klostermann.

Dr. Klostermann was vital in helping lead the District’s Strategic Planning Committee through the development of the District’s current mission and vision. This process required working with a variety of stakeholders from the school community to establish the district's mission statement of "empowering each learner to excel in diverse communities.”

Congratulations Dr. Klostermann!
